Overview

Everest High Pass trek is also popularly known as Three Pass Trek because in this trek we have to cross three different passes that are above 5,000 meters altitude from sea level. On this trekking adventure, the three passes that we will be crossing are - Kongma La Pass (5,535 meters), Cho La Pass (5420 meters) and Renjo La Pass (5,340 meters). Among the three high passes the Renjo La pass is the most difficult one.

Along with three high passes we will also be stepping our foot on the southern Everest Base Camp at an altitude of 5364 meters and Kalapatthar at an altitude of 5545 meters. We will also scale Gokyo Ri and witness the beautiful Gokyo Lake.

Everest High Pass Trek is highly adventurous trek. Therefore it is an ideal choice for the trekkers who seek real adventure and who are in search of a challenging & breathtaking trek. This is the most adventurous trek in the Khumbu region. The real caliber of a trekker will be tested in this trek.

After taking a scenic and adventurous thirty five minutes flight from Kathmandu we will land at Lukla airport. Exactly after landing at the Lukla airport our trek starts. During our whole trek we will enjoy the unique taste of nature and also come across the Sherpa community villages. Sherpa community needs no description as they are the renowned ethnic group all over the world. We can indulge into the unique culture of Sherpa community and get familiar with their cultures & traditions, cuisines and their life styles. During the spring season (Mar-May) we can see Rhododendron and Magnolia forests.

You will not only be crossing the three high Himalayan passes but also be doing the Everest Base Camp trek in the single journey. This trek in the Khumbu region offers you the spectacular views of the high Himalayan ranges, Himalayan glaciers and also the glacial lakes. The walking most of the days at altitudes above 3500 meters and climbing the rocky landscapes are the two big challenges that come on our way.

Though the trek is tough you will enjoy every single moment and the picturesque views that you will see during the trek. As hard work gives us a memorable and beautiful memory that lasts for long time, similar is the case with this trek though it might be tough for you but every moment that you experience during this trek will be in your memories for a long time.

Along with Mt. Everest, the world’s highest peak at an altitude of 8848 meters, we will also witness the panoramic views of other three peaks that are above 8000 meters namely Mt.
